WikPik is a trusting community of seekers and recommenders. Personal discovery of perfect movies is WikPik's purpose. Like bursts of magic into our everyday lives, perfect movies impart uncanny social power on those who discover them. Gifted this power, lives are changed, relationships consummated, memories made, social blunders averted. Peace, harmony and good vibes flow from the rocker to the couch to the bed.

WikPik is built on trust and collective wisdom, each reduced to numbers. Words are important but messy. Quantified opinions are actionable, focusing a movie search from the vast available choices onto the precious few that are just ... perfect. The acting of a movie star, the edginess of a film, the reliability of a recommendation, WikPik hones in on the elements that define and assure perfection for each individual movie lover.

Trust, like taste, is in the eye of the beholder. A given reviewer can be unerring for some, dead wrong for others. One man's perfect movie is many a woman's macho bore. With WikPik, you select reviewers worth your trust, and then find movies based on their collective wisdom, a more reliable mechanism than depending on even the most trusted individual.

WikPik's Founder and Chief Arbiter is one D. Benjamin Wickowitz, 'Wick' to the few and far between who have knowingly crossed his path. Wick's high hopes and grand aspirations for WikPik have galvanized in him a commitment to its civility, utility, integrity and evolution.

You can help WikPik achieve its potential in two ways.

First, review lots and lots of movies. It is dead simple to do. Just drag five sliders and be done. If you are sure of your opinion, it only takes a few seconds per review, assuming you don't write any commentary, though you are more likely to become a trusted reviewer if you do. Dozens of members have already reviewed hundreds of movies - action movies, comedies, dramas, thrillers, fantasies, and romances - helping WikPik to puff out its community chest, in the process guiding Miss Lonely Hearts and Mr. Action Guy to that perfect movie they'd never known existed, until you helped them find it.
