Talk about: Public Enemies |

Regarding Johnny Pace’s Review Your 2nd paragraph nails a key weakness of the movie. “I want names!” Indeed. I think you also appropriately place Public Enemies as being in the same orbit as Bugsy and The Untouchables, which as you point out isn’t necessarily bad, just not perfect. |

Regarding Johnny Pace’s Review A funny incident happend while I sat in the theater watching it. Four people got up (not altogether) and walked out of the movie. One of them walked past me and I heard him mumble “This movie is f*cking stupid.” I smirked and said to myself “Must be a Michael Bay fan” lol. I don’t see how this film could NOT be entertaining to someone over the age of 18 and isn’t mildly retarded. It just seems like people today need to take some Ritalin and watch a movie that EXPLAINS a story instead of just random explosions and ridiculously over the top fight scenes. Idk, maybe I’m getting old lol. |

Thnx, wick. I think my expectations for this one were just way too high. Johnny Depp’s a great actor, and so is Christian Bale and Marion Cottilard. If I hosted “At the Movies”, I’d say “rent it”. BTW Have you seen the trailer for Chris Nolan’s “Inception”? I think it looks awesome! |
