I’d guess I’d call myself a newbie. I would always say that anti-Star Trek stuff back when I was about 9 or 10, when I didn’t really understand Star Trek. Now that I’ve grown up, I’ve learned an old life lesson: Don’t judge something before you get to know it.

Regarding MetalJunky5000’s Review
Great review MJ. As a Star Trek kid, it’s fun to see an appreciation from a, a, well how would you characterize yourself? Star Trek newbie or former hater? Either way, fresh eyes yield fresh insights.

Definitely Wick. I haven’t seen Star Trek and not being a fan of the series, I don’t intend to. However, it seems to be holding strong and keeping the majority of the people happy while I’ve seen that some Trekkies aren’t too rocked on it. Terminator though I think will be neck and neck with Transformers 2 as the big hit this summer. While Terminator looks fantastic and will literally be all out war, the Michael Bay following continues to increase with every shiny piece of crap he throws on the screen. The kiddies however, will flock to theaters to see the same lame jokes, dialogue, incredibly bland characters, and cinematography that is Michael Bay’s signature. While I will watch Transformers 2 (online only) just to see where the story is headed, it will be Terminator: Salvation that I will be paying to see.
